Wimbledon!!!

My friend Judith invited me to go to Wimblendon with her and how could I say no to that?
Since we didn't have tickets we had to go on the "Queue". Judith got out of work early and we headed towards Wimblendon. I did not know that champagne, and strawberries and cream were a thing and the best part... You can bring your own! So before getting there we stopped by the store and got some bubbles!

The second you get out of the tube in Wimbledon you can feel the excitement of the tournament! First of all they have decorated the tube station!!!
There's Judith!!!

They even marked the streets to let us know which way we needed to go

Once we got inside the line was huge and to the left they were tents... I guess people camp there!
So in order to be in the queue and enter Wimbledon you are given a ticket and you must enter in order meaning that you can't leave the line for hours because then you are not allowed in. But, it gives you time to go to the bathroom or get some food and get back.
Judith even brought a blanket to sit on since we thought we would be there for hours but we were pleasantly surprised on how fast the queue moved. All together we probably were constantly moving for an hour before we got in! ( which was way better than the expected 2 hour wait)

While waiting we saw this four guys trying to take a video or picture of them being silly so I decided to take one as well.

... We are finally in... For £18! Yeay
So all the courts in the middle are pretty much free for anybody to watch as long as there is space to stand and you are tall enough to see standing behind people.

Jude and I got very lucky and two women gave us seats for one of the matches so we actually got to seat down and enjoy the match. We watched a women's match with a Colombian girl playing... Woohoo Latin America representing!

It was a very exciting day and I felt so lucky to be able to go to Wimbledon!
On our way back to Wimbledon city we looked at all the shops with tennis theme displays. Some of them had just incorporated tennis balls but some others really put some effort and came up with amazing displays.

At the train station they even made a poster using train tickets!

Wimbledon was such a great experience and so unexpected! Definitively made this trip even better!
