London sightseeing

We literally walked for hours and explored the city.
We started by crossing tower bridge and then walking along the River Thames

Our first official stop was at borough market, one of the largest and oldest food markets in London.
The market had many different stalls selling fruits, vegetables, pastries, cheeses, and so many different kinds of dishes from all over the word!

Pastries :-)
They even had candy :-)

After having a snack we got back into the path and kept walking along the river
We saw many street "performers" doing all kinds of random things:
A guy with a typewriter offering writing services
A bubble guy
Guys making a sand structure

A bookstore under the bridge

And then.... The London eye and Big Ben!

After crossing the bridge we arrived in front of Big Ben

And walked to Westminster abbey... The entrance fee was £20- which is way too much money for a church- so we decided to lay on the grass and relax!
Here's my view

After a quick stop we decided to walk to Trafalgar Square and we bumped into the pride parade so we decided to stay and watch. I've lived in SF for 12 years and have never gone to pride so this was very exciting - as well as entertaining!

Even the queen made an appearance! Haha
Then we decided to walk around soho/Chinatown where there were tons of gays bars and the party just kept on going.

After walking for about 11 hours we decide to go back to the hostel and rest before going out for my friend Andreas birthday
